SKS Wrench?
I did a post a long while back about my Norinco SKS that had all of the problems with it. Apparently the forward sight wasn't on all the way and the bayonet wouldn't go up. I moved it to my dads place down on the farm and out of the city. He used to be an old Marine rifle instructor and couldn't believe what horrid shape that weapon was in. My brother and him worked on the rifle for a few hours removing the pins and moving the forward sight back so it is now in working order.
He asked me to pick up a wrench to adjust the windage and elevation. I looked over on SKSparts.com and saw the tool for $14.95. The catch is they want $10 for shipping a small part. I think there has to be someplace cheaper. Anyone know where I can get one? |
Re: SKS Wrench?
try a tire shop. valve core remover tool is about right for elevation of front sight pin. windage can use a "c" clamp, or hammer and punch{brass}
'c ' clamp |
